Alex Mohajer announced on Friday more endorsements in his campaign for California State Senate in Orange County’s 37th Senate District from Our Revolution and the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE).
The endorsements reflect further statewide support from progressive organizations advocating for housing justice and economic dignity for working families in California.
“Our members and the communities we serve look to ACCE Action to dutifully advocate for the policies, legislation, and candidates that will advance and promote justice,” said Juan Cesar Rubalcava
Director of Political & Civic Engagement of ACCE. “It is the genuine determination and belief of our leadership committee that Alex Mohajer is a clear champion for progressive values.”
Mohajer is the only candidate in his race, Democrat or Republican, to pledge to refuse corporate PAC, fossil fuels, and other special interest money, and is the only candidate in his race to call for a ceasefire in Gaza. He announced in March of last year that he would be running to replace outgoing Senator Dave Min in the State Senate.
The primary election is March 5th, and Mohajer has run a strong grassroots campaign that has raised nearly $200,000 and has earned endorsements from across Orange County, the state, and the country. They include:
- California Working Families Party
- Irvine Mayor Farrah Khan
- Aliso Viejo Mayor Richard Hurt
- Sunrise Movement
- Chispa
- OC Action
