Democrat Alex Mohajer announced on Wednesday that Climate Action California has endorsed his campaign for California State Senate in Orange County’s 37th Senate District ahead of the March 5th Primary Election. Mohajer has centered climate change in his campaign, released a 5-point climate platform last year, and has criticized both major parties in California for accepting Big Oil and Gas money. He is the only candidate in his race from either party to pledge to refuse corporate PAC, fossil fuels, and other special interest money.
“Climate Action California Elections seeks to endorse climate champions who will not only support the critical steps we must take to address the climate crisis but have also declared addressing climate change to be among their highest priorities,” said CAC Elections Committee Chair Angie Barrick. “Alex Mohajer has demonstrated that he is and will continue to be a champion that carries key legislation to take the important steps we need in the crucial years ahead.”
