On Sunday, I attended the Alex Mohajer for State Senate music night event featuring six-time Emmy nominee Tituss Burgess and a host of stars from TV, film, and Broadway.
I cannot express in words how the vibe in that room was unlike any political event I’d ever attended. It was nothing short of magic. Hundreds of people turned out for a night of music, to hear Alex’s inspiring story, and to learn about his hopeful vision for the state of California.

As a queer Iranian-American, Alex and his family know firsthand the horrors of oppressive authoritarian government. His lifelong fight for freedom and civil rights is what will lead him to victory. I’m a true believer that Alex is the future of this state and that this is absolutely the campaign to watch in Southern California. Everyone take note.
